Attorney Michaud is the Principal and Managing Attorney at the Michaud Law Group LLC. – a small law firm that does big things! The firm represents select local, national, and international clients in all aspects of clean energy project development, including property assessment, site control, regional, state, and global permitting, off-taker contracts, construction, regulatory compliance, and project purchase and sale. We are working on solar, fuel cell, microgrid, and electric storage projects throughout New England, the Northeast, and the Caribbean. Attorney Michaud received his Juris Doctor degree from New England Law – Boston and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Bentley University.

Dylan Gillis

Attorney Dylan Gillis is well-versed in many aspects of renewable energy, including licensing and permitting requirements, power purchase agreements; project finance; and tax incentives. He has experience working with the United States Department of Energy, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and state and local governments. Dylan is a former intern at the Federal Environmental Protection Agency and the Ocean Renewable Power Company, a renewable energy company with projects worldwide. Dylan has also edited and published articles on land use and zoning regulations.

Attorney Gillis is admitted to the Connecticut bar. He received his Juris Doctor degree and Master’s Degree in Energy Regulation and Law from the Vermont Law School.

Alan B. Chubbuck, Jr.

Alan is the Director of Strategic Planning at Michaud Law Group LLC. Alan is responsible for analyzing and planning the development of renewable energy projects including solar, fuel cells, wind, and hydropower systems. He is assisting in developing more than 50 MWs of renewable energy projects for the firm’s clients in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York. Alan passionately believes that every relationship is unique and to be valued, which are values shared at Michaud Law Group LLC. He is a fourth-generation family farmer at the Breezy Hill Farm in Pomfret Center, Connecticut. Alan is a former United States Marine, franchise owner, and youth sports coach. He is also a current Real Estate Agent and Entrepreneur. He graduated from Eastern Connecticut University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.

Robert Ives

Robert has an extensive background in Energy Utilities, having worked for Eversource Energy for 19 years. Robert also worked at the CT State Legislature for several years in the Energy and Commerce committees, before working as Director of Gov’t Affairs and Economic Development for the Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce. Robert also served as Executive Director of the CT Democrats. His background also includes serving as Chair of the Ansonia Inland/Wetlands Commission, as member of the Southington Conservation Committee and currently serves as Chair of the Southington Zoning Board of Appeals.

Robert has a BS in Industrial Technology from Central CT State University and a MS in Public Policy from Southern CT State University.
