Michaud Law Group LLC is pleased to be representing the Coventry Microgrid Project, which will include solar generation, battery storage, natural gas fired combined heat and power generation, as well as an advanced microgrid control system, and will provide hardened infrastructure and generation to several critical facilities within the town. The microgrid will provide over 95 percent of power needs and reduce peak power demand for nine critical town facilities, including the Orchard Hills Community Complex, Coventry High School, Middle School, Police Station, Fire Department, School Administration Offices, Town Hall and Annex, and an Emergency Radio Tower.

The application window for Round 4 of the pioneering Connecticut microgrid grant program closed with the onset of the new year.
